Shinedown continues to expand the universe of their 2018 album Attention Attention . This time, the band will release a film with a "visual journey" through the album's songs and has released the final trailer for the movie.
“This is a concept album in many different details and the viewpoints on this album are very, very unique,” vocalist Brent Smith at the time of the album's release. “It’s definitely a psychological, emotional and physical journey. (…) It’s really a record about not being afraid to fail.”
In the trailer, characters already introduced in the music video for the track "Attention Attention" appear as the narrative unfolds, as well as new characters, complete with cinematic explosions and plenty of mystery – and a soundtrack entirely by Shinedown.
Directed by Bill Yukich , the film premieres on September 3rd exclusively in the United States. There is no release date yet for the international release, but Attention Attention will also be released on DVD.
Previously, the band had already released a 14-minute documentary about the production process, featuring the band members' accounts of the concept revolving around a society blinded by technology.
