The single is part of the band's new album
Shinedown recently announced that they will be releasing their sixth studio album, Attention Attention . The work will address strong themes and take the fan on a mental journey.
In their first single, “Devil” , the band explores the anxiety that the current world fosters in people, and in “The Human Radio”, they expose the dependence on technology that we have created.
“To put it simply: it’s an album about not being afraid to fail (…) What you can’t do is stand still and not try anything because you think you can’t achieve what you want,” says vocalist Brent Smith, “The devil of music is the one inside you sabotaging you.”
Attention Attention will be released on May 4th by Atlantic Records, and until then you can check out the powerful music video for "The Human Radio" below:
