Shinedown has released the music video for "Planet Zero," the title track from their new album, scheduled for release on April 22nd via Atlantic Records .
Speaking about the track and the concept behind the album, vocalist Brent Smith explained: “When you look at [the universe] outside your phone, you’ll see that there are a lot of people doing good things and trying to take care of each other. But we’re starting to see parts of society slipping into the unknown. 'Planet Zero' was written for all of us.”
“The fact is that we are all here on this planet no matter what happens, so it’s time for us to move forward together with empathy, perseverance, and strength. With that said… Welcome to Planet Zero,” he concluded.
