Sharon Osbourne Black Sabbath 's highly anticipated farewell show , revealed that she removed a band from the lineup of the event, scheduled to take place at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, on July 5th. The businesswoman commented on the matter during an interview with Metal Hammer (via Loudwire ), and mentioned that the decision came after a conflict with the band's manager:

“I had a huge, huge falling out with a manager over this celebration for Ozzy [Osbourne] and Sabbath. And it was probably the worst feeling I’ve had in years. I don’t care what this person says about me, or what he thinks, because he doesn’t know me. Now he’s out there making up absurd lies because I took his band out of the event.”

Rumors indicated that the band held captive by Sharon Osbourne is Tool.

The wife of the Prince of Darkness did not reveal which band was dropped from the event. However, after a bug Tool 's name from the festival's official website, rumors surfaced about a possible withdrawal of the progressive metal band from the celebration. This information was investigated and denied by Loudwire , which confirmed the group's participation in the show.

Also during the interview, Sharon said she only cares about the opinions of the people who love her:

“I don’t care what people say. You know why? Because I don’t love those people. I care about what the people who love me say. You can’t care what the industry says, because you don’t love the industry, so how can that hurt you? It can’t.”

Recently, Rob Halford , frontman of Judas Priest , said he was devastated that he wouldn't be able to attend the Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne celebration due to scheduling conflicts. In addition to the vocalist, Angus Young , drummer of AC/DC, will also be absent for the same reason.
