Sharon Osbourne, widow and manager of Ozzy Osbourne, has put the Los Angeles, California mansion where she lived with the singer up for sale. The property, purchased by the family in 2015, is available on the real estate market for US$17 million, approximately R$87.8 million at the current exchange rate.
Located in the Hancock Park neighborhood, this Mediterranean-style home, built in 1929, features seven bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, a dedicated home theater, and a swimming pool lined with hand-painted mosaics. The approximately 2,050 square meter property includes the main house, measuring 948 square meters, and a fully renovated guest house. Details and photos of the rooms are available here.
According to Josh Greerof Carolwood Estates, the company handling the sale, the home theater stands out. “With its red carpet, it houses a fireplace covered in signatures of celebrities who have visited the residence over the decades, including Elvis Presley, Mel Tormé, and Natalie Wood. This tradition was started by the house's former owner, radio host Frank Bresee, and continued by the Osbournes,” he stated [transcription via Vogue].
In July 2022, three years before the singer's death, Sharon Osbourne had already tried to sell the house for R$ 91.8 million and then reduced the price to R$ 89.3 million before abandoning the deal. At the time, the couple was considering moving permanently to the Buckinghamshire mansion in England, where the Prince of Darkness is buried.
