On June 8, 2019, maestro and vocalist Andre Matos Shaman 's reunion tour , leaving everyone saddened by his departure. With much hard work and respect for his legacy, three years later the band released their new album, Rescue, with Alírio Netto on vocals. Among the special tracks is "Gone Too Soon," an epic, moving, and captivating tribute to their eternal leader and composer, Shaman.
“When Alírio came up with the idea for this song, I immediately imagined how it would sound when produced. It’s a moving song, as it’s a very beautiful tribute he made to Andre. I think not only me, but everyone in the band got emotional while recording and afterwards with the final result, and it really couldn’t have been any other way,” comments guitarist Hugo Mariutti .
On July 31st, Shaman will perform at Audio in São Paulo, playing the albums Rescue (2022) and Ritual (2002) in their entirety, as a celebration of both the band's past and present phases. Learn more.
