Shakira said she is a big fan of Metallica and other rock bands.

Pop singer Shakira included a version of Metallica's classic "Nothing Else Matters" in the setlist of her "The Sun Comes Out World Tour" in 2011. See the video of the song from her show in Paris below.

In a recent interview, the Colombian singer said:
“I’m a big fan of bands like Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, and The Cure. And I was a huge Metallica fan when I was 15 or 16 years old.”

Shakira concludes: “Back then I used to sing 'Nothing Else Matters' all day long. And I'm still a big Metallica fan. I thought it would be a cool surprise to include that song in the setlist for that tour.”

"Nothing Else Matters" belongs to the Metallica album known as the Black Album, released in 1991.
