It's almost funny, but after surviving two near-fatal accidents, the band felt that something good was about to happen again in Poland. It's true that the memories of the 2010 tour with WASP were the best possible. The shows in Warsaw and Krakow represent some of the best feedback Shadowside has ever received in its career. In both cities, the group delivered a devastating performance and, in the end, their name was unanimously acclaimed.

When the Hellish Rock tour schedule was sent to Shadowside's management and we learned that these two cities were on the itinerary, all the good memories from two years ago certainly resurfaced, and the anticipation of feeling the warmth of the Polish audience became an obsession for us.

Since we arrived in Krakow a day early, we used our free time to replenish our stock of things we need daily and, why not, take a stroll around the city, sample various treats, and drink the famous vodka.

This time, the presentation was held at Klub Studio. From the moment we arrived, we could see several black t-shirts around the venue, and despite the snow piled up on the sidewalks, a considerable queue had already formed.

We unloaded our equipment and had to squeeze into a tiny dressing room that barely fit our backpacks. With everything piled on top of chairs and tables, and even spilling over onto the top of the refrigerator, there was no way six people could share the same space. But we managed somehow.

The stage wasn't the biggest either. Setting up the equipment for the three bands was practically modern engineering (laughs). However, it's at this point that the competence and experience of a team makes all the difference. All the technicians and roadies on this long tour have impressive know-how. Each member has worked with and has many funny stories to tell about Rock/Metal legends, including some that are unprintable in Brazil (laughs).

With all this technical reliability, we went on stage with the purest desire to relive the Polish flame. And we did! It's impressive how they give themselves over to the experience and how excited they are with each interaction. The response is always immediate! There's nothing better than seeing the crowd going wild.

The curious thing that happened tonight occurred during Helloween's encore. When the Germans left the stage for a well-deserved rest, the fans started shouting "Shadowside! Shadowside!" When we heard that, we looked at each other, somewhat incredulous at what was happening, and wondered, "Is that really what we're hearing?" Yes, we weren't crazy. The crowd was shouting "Shadowside" during Helloween's break.

In the end, our merchandising turned into utter pandemonium. Photos, videos, signatures on everything imaginable and impossible…
