After another brilliant show in the vibrant city of Krakow, we headed to the capital, Warsaw. The anticipation was even greater. The rivalry between the two cities is quite similar to the "hatred" between two football fan groups. Of course, this kind of difference exists between some Brazilian cities, but the animosity between these two places is striking.
Knowing that the performance in Krakow was spectacular, the audience in the Polish capital seems to have mobilized precisely with the aim of not disappointing, both Brazilians and Germans, in the pursuit of overcoming their "enemies".
The venue was Stodola. The structure of the place was much bigger than its predecessor, and our dressing room was waaaay bigger. The production was the same one that handled the Hellish Rock tour's Warsaw stop, and we received exceptional treatment, especially in terms of food (laughs). We're not starving, but on this tour we're enjoying several irresistible dishes. The cuisine at some music venues in Europe is something formidable. No one can resist it!
After a delicious lunch, we were full of energy for the day's commitments. The soundcheck went well, and as soon as we left the stage, the doors opened, allowing the crowd to quickly take to the dance floor.
Since our first performance in Warsaw in 2010 was very exciting, our expectations for this performance were even higher. And the Polish people did not disappoint! The audience put on a show of their own! They sang, shouted, applauded, and cheered so much! The response was once again so immediate that it felt like we were a famous Polish band. Unforgettable!
In the end, our merchandising, as we predicted, once again turned into complete pandemonium. The Polish people are very attentive, welcoming, warm, and, as always, there were many photos, autographs, and laughs.
We can't wait to return to Poland.
Next destination: Helsinki, Finland.
