We left Tampere extremely happy after our first two performances in Finland. Helsinki always provides us with good times, but the city we were most looking forward to was Oulu. In 2010, unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to play there, and our debut had to wait a while…
The trip to the city located in the northern region of Finland was filled with lots and lots of snow and beautiful scenery. However, this time, the snow didn't cause us any problems. We drove 490 km in complete tranquility, with the only curious exchanges of greetings between the motorhomes crossing the roads.
We arrived at Club Teatria and were shown to our dressing room. On the wall, several posters of extreme music festivals, which made the place famous. The venue has a great layout. The dance floor and VIP areas are very well structured and it can host events of all sizes, such as the Hellish Rock tour.
As expected, the audience arrived early and soon the fans filled the entire barrier. When the lights went down and our introduction began to echo through the PA system, the crowd stared blankly at the stage, waiting for the first strumming of "I'm Your Mind." We finally made our Oulu debut!
Throughout our entire performance, we received excellent feedback. The songs "Inner Monster Out" and "Waste of Life" were the most praised during our interaction with the audience at our merchandise booth, which, by the way, once again turned into chaos! (laughs)
Finland is truly a country devoted to Heavy Metal. Our three shows were super special and we hope that our next European tour, the Shadowside tour, will include more cities in that country.
Now it's time to head to our next destination: Oslo, Norway.
