Knowing that our debut in Stockholm was a real success, we traveled to Karlstad with the intention of devastating that quiet city like a hurricane.
We arrived at the event venue just as they were unloading all the equipment from the enormous truck that transports all the infrastructure for the Hellish Rock tour. So, once again, we arrived early and took the opportunity to take care of all our professional matters before enjoying a delicious lunch.
The venue for the show was an old factory that, after being renovated and remodeled, became a very diverse cultural complex, encompassing small, medium, and large-scale shows and events, as well as a small children's playground and an excellent bowling alley. This last attraction tempted us, but since we were busy doing our laundry, the Germans were the ones who took advantage. This time, they got their revenge (laughs).
With the show's schedule running perfectly, we only had to worry about getting on stage and giving our best. For us, the response from the Swedish audience was very important, after all, they value quality and excellence in everything they do, and music is no exception.
We decided to keep the same setlist as in Stockholm precisely because the “Inner Monster Out” tour features guest vocalists Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity), Björn “Speed” Strid (Soilwork), and Niklas Isfeldt (Dream Evil). Even though they didn't participate in our show, the feedback was very good. In fact, the entire repertoire has had an effect on the 24 shows of the Hellish Rock tour so far. And we can measure this mainly during the show, and afterwards, at our merchandise stand. Fortunately, many people have bought mainly our three CDs and t-shirts, and had a great time with us before going home;
