Punk icons Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter have cancelled their performance at The Town festival, which was scheduled for this Sunday, the 7th. The festival organizers have announced Bad Religion as the new act.
The band cancelled all shows in Latin America due to an accident suffered by guitarist Steve Jones , who broke his wrist.
Read the statement below:
“We have some unfortunate news to share regarding our upcoming performances in North and South America. Let Steve explain what’s going on: “I have some good news and some bad news. Which do you want first? Okay, the bad news: I broke my wrist, so unfortunately, we won’t be doing any shows for a while.”.
The good news is that the surgeon said I'll be playing guitar again in the not-too-distant future. The other good news is that I'll be 70 tomorrow! God bless and protect my wrist. Performances will be postponed and rescheduled when Steve is fully recovered. Check the venue websites and our social media for more information.
"Thank you for your understanding and support.".
