All I See Is War is Sevendust's 12th album.
The successor to Sevendust's Kill The Flaw All I See Is War, will be released on May 11th. The album was recorded in Florida with producer Michael Baskette, who has previously worked with Alter Bridge and Slash. This album will be the first to be released via Rise Records, a label acquired by BMG in 2015.
In an interview with Good Company, vocalist Lajon Witherspoon spoke about the band's effort: “We did much more in 33 days recording this than I've ever done in my life. I sang 14 days out of nine to make up for lost time. But it was also because I felt good, so some days I recorded two songs. And it was an experience working with Michael Baskette. Not to take away from any other producer, but for me, it was the best [recording] experience of my life. Maybe it's because I'm older and more experienced, but the way he worked and the things he knows about music were completely different – I've never seen anyone [like him] before.”
In 2016, Sevendust received its first Grammy nomination after two decades of history. The song "Thank You" was nominated in the Best Metal Performance category.
