Whitesnake is coming to the country with "The Greatest Hits Tour," with performances in six capital cities: São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Curitiba, and Rio de Janeiro.
David Coverdale commented on the band's visit to Brazil and said that the tour may be their last: "We are very excited and looking forward to playing in Brazil in September with our Greatest Hits World Tour and, most likely, this will be my 'farewell to rock arenas' after more than 40 years of writing and performing in this musical genre."
Whitesnake also features guitarists Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra, bassist Michael Devin, drummer Tommy Aldridge, and keyboardist Michele Luppi.
