System Of A Down vocalist Serj Tankian took to his Instagram to send a message to fans: Are you a Donald Trump and you like the song "Temper"? If so, you're a hypocrite.
The statement regarding the song, originally written for the band's first album in 1998 but played several times at concerts in 2015, was based on the song's lyrics in the post, and later, on Tankian's clarification in the photo's comments.
"Let me add that obviously the song was written in the 90s and refers to injustice in the US and injustice perpetrated by the US through successive Democratic and Republican administrations. I just find the most recent version the most repugnant," the artist stated.
