Serj Tankian finally discovered the "System of a Dilma" meme – and was relieved that it wasn't Jair Bolsonaro in the image.

The meme has surpassed four million views since its release in 2011, and transforms a speech by then-President Dilma Rousseff , of the PT party, into the song "Chop Suey" by System of a Down . Lula also appears in some parts.

During an interview with the G1 news portal , Tankian watched the video (starting at 7:05 ) and laughed a lot. “I think it’s hilarious! I was watching it and laughing my head off,” he commented. “It was Lula, right? Lula and Dilma. Funny, very funny. At least they used them, and not Bolsonaro .”

The singer criticized the current Brazilian president when speaking about far-right populist leaders who have come to power in recent years. "We don't have time for dictators. We don't have time for idiots leading us," he stated in an interview with Veja . Read more here.
