The System Of A Down posted about the documentary on Instagram.
vocalist Serj Tankian is currently working on a music documentary. The film will explore Serj's activism through the lens of his own career.
He detailed the news last Friday with an Instagram post and an old photo from a music video. That previously unseen image was found while he and his team were collecting materials from his life to be used in the film.
The photo – which shows a young Tankian at a keyboard – is from the singer's first work as a musician. He wrote in the caption that the band was called Forever Young .
"We're making a music documentary about activism and my career. So, we've been looking for old recordings, photos, and videos," she commented in the post.
The title and release date of the documentary have not yet been revealed.
