In partnership with HEX Brand , Serj Tankian of System of a Down has launched a custom line of backpacks. The items will be limited to a production run of 300 units, priced at $195.95 (approximately R$820).
The HEX x Serj Tankian backpack is lined with nylon and features Serj's 2014 artwork "Space Clock" printed on the lining. It has a front tablet pocket and an internal laptop compartment. It also includes internal pockets for hard drives and a hidden headphone pocket.
Just like the artwork on the backpack, the product also provides access to unreleased Serj music through augmented reality. Using the Arloopa , simply pointing your phone at the backpack unlocks the new tracks.
An official launch event is scheduled to take place on December 9th in Los Angeles. The first 50 people to RSVP will receive special discounts on their purchase, a mini-print of the artwork “Space Clock,” and three autographs and a photo opportunity with the lead singer of System of a Down.
