Serj Tankian , frontman of System of a Down , has announced a memoir album titled Down With The System , scheduled for release next year.
The news was revealed on the musician's social media. “Boom! I wrote a new book. I had a lot of fun working on this accidentally created philosophical memoir, as it gave me the unique opportunity to delve deeply into my family history, my own motivations from a young age, and lessons I didn't know I had learned.”
The memoir is scheduled for release on May 14, 2024, by Hachette Books, with the publisher's website promising that Tankian's memoir will be "much more than just a rock 'n' roll fable.".
