The duo presented the tribute one day before what would have been the two-year anniversary of Chris Cornell's death
Last weekend, Tom Morello performed at the Sonic Temple festival and paid tribute to his former bandmate and friend Chris Cornell , who passed away two years ago.
During the set, Morello was performing a medley of songs by Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave when Serj Takian joined him on stage and sang along to "Like a Stone".
The System of a Down revealed that before becoming friends with Cornell, he was a big fan of his work. "His voice has always been honest, light, and real."
