Listen to the new version of Darkness
São Paulo-based drummer Sergio Facci, who has worked with Vodu, Viper, and Volkana, has announced the creation of V Project, to present re-recordings of material from those bands as well as new, unreleased material. The musician is currently finalizing the project's EP.
“I felt that this was the moment to return to the style that is in my blood, Heavy Metal ,” says Facci. The drummer invited vocalist Marielle Loyola (formerly of Volkana and Escola de Escândalo) to re-record Volkana's hit, Darkness .
In addition to Darkness , V Project's debut EP will feature new versions of Final Conflict (Vodu) and Living for the Night (Viper). Facci collaborated with special guests and former band members, including Valder Santos (ex-Viper), Carlinhos Anhaia (ex-Pozzeidon), Artur Silveira (bass), and his former Vodu bandmate, José Luis Xinho Gemignani (guitar).
