Today, the 21st, Sepultura welcomes to SepulQuarta (now happening every two weeks), the designer and visual artist Derek Hess , known for creating album art for bands like Pantera, Pearl Jam, Deftones, Iggy Pop, Pink Floyd … and Sepultura! He produced the cover for the band's 2003 album, Roorback .
Also participating in this edition's Q&A is America Paredes , Associate Vice President of Partnerships & Community Outreach at Mental Health America , the nation's leading community organization helping people living with mental illness. The band will also be officially supporting the initiative in this episode.
“This SepulQuarta we’ll be talking with the talented artist Derek Hess, who has created his own style of work with strong connections in the music world. In addition, we have America Paredes from Mental Health America. We’ll be exploring issues of mental illness within the music industry and how it relates to even broader issues like depression, anxiety, and suicide,” explains vocalist Derrick Green .
But it doesn't stop there: for Live Quarantine, the Periphery guitarist Mark Holcomb to play the track "Phantom Self " from their 2017 album Machine Messiah .
