In a press conference held this Friday, the 8th, Sepultura announced that their 40th-anniversary tour will also be a farewell tour (learn more here) . The first concert dates around the world, including Brazil, have already been announced.
Called Life Through Death," the tour begins here in Brazil in March 2024, with eight initial dates announced. The first show will take place in Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais and the band's hometown, followed by Juiz de Fora (MG), Brasília (DF), Uberlândia (MG), Porto Alegre (RS), Curitiba (PR), and Florianópolis (SC). The band will only perform in São Paulo in September. All details, including dates, venues, and prices, are available at the end of this article.
In total, the tour is initially scheduled to last 18 months. In addition to the first dates in Brazil, the band has also announced shows in Latin America, with dates in Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay during April, followed by a European tour between October and November of next year, with the bands Jinjer , Obituary , and Jesus Piece as special guests.
The tour will be produced by 30e and ticket sales will begin next Monday, December 11th, at 12 PM, through the Eventim . Tickets are available in full-price, half-price, or social ticket categories, with a reduced price upon donation of 1kg of non-perishable food; this category is available to anyone.
Furthermore, Sepultura's farewell tour includes VIP packages in different modalities, with the option to attend the band's Soundcheck, which includes a premium standing ticket, access to the soundcheck, early entrance, experience credential, early access to merch and an open bar pit, and also a Meet and Greet, which includes all the benefits of the previous one, plus an exclusive cap, meet & greet and mini exhibition with some items from the band's history.
In all cities, the age classification allows the entry and stay of children/adolescents aged 5 to 15 years old, accompanied by their parents or guardians, and those aged 16 to 17 years old, unaccompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
