The band will play on September 24th
Sepultura told the newspaper O Globo that they intend to play their latest album, "Machine Messiah," in its entirety at their Rock in Rio show. The band will perform on the Sunset stage on September 24th.
Guitarist Andreas Kisser said he intends to perform all the tracks from the new album. Speaking to Globo, Kisser said: “Many people say they’ve been listening to the album from beginning to end. We really wanted to create an album-like atmosphere for “Machine Messiah,” with different sensations in each song, something that would truly be a journey.”
“Machine Messiah” arrived 4 years after its predecessor “The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart”, representing the longest wait between two Sepultura albums to date. The work was co-produced by the band with Jens Borgen (Amon Amarth, Opeth).
