Andreas Kisser says Sepultura already has demos for a new album

Sepultura's last release was in 2017

Andreas Kisser , guitarist for Sepultura , said in an interview with TotalRock Radio that the band has already begun the songwriting process for their new album, the successor to Machine Messiah , released in 2017.

“We have some ideas, so we have somewhere to start – some songs in demo version,” Kisser said. “We still have to develop them, we don’t have a direction, theme, or anything like that, but it’s getting there.”

Kisser also spoke about the band's relationship with the record label Nuclear Blast: “It’s incredible! […] I think Nuclear Blast has the perfect balance between believing in the music and having the business capable of sustaining everything. […] We have total freedom and support to do our thing and they believe in the band, which is all we need.”.

Sepultura will be playing a show in São Paulo in October. Read more here .
