Andreas Kisser revealed that Sepultura wants to release an EP with "three or four" unreleased songs, one of them being a ballad, something new for the band.
The interview was given to Sarah Oliveira and the transcript is via Whiplash . This would be the first work since the lineup change that occurred in the group, with the entry of Greyson Nekrutman .
Kisser emphasized precisely that: that it would be a "waste" not to release anything with the new band member.
“We want to record all our shows to release a live CD and maybe release 3 or 4 unreleased songs with Greyson on drums. We're talking about a few things, some unreleased. We have a big dream of writing a ballad, which we've never been able to do! [laughs] In metal there are so many bands with that ability.”
“We tried a few times, but it never worked out. We were going to compose, but I'm thinking about some partners. It's still kind of a secret. We know a lot of people who are into the simplest things, but placed in the right context. Why not, right? This small studio EP would be to celebrate and enjoy the possibilities. It would be a waste not to take advantage of it.”
