The event takes place in September
Sepultura has been confirmed as one of the acts for Rock In Rio, which will take place between September 15th and 24th. Sepultura will play on the Sunset stage on the 24th.
The band is promoting their latest album, “Machine Messiah”, released on January 13th. “Machine Messiah” arrived 4 years after its predecessor “The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart”, representing the longest wait between two Sepultura albums to date. The work was co-produced by the band with Jens Borgen (Amon Amarth, Opeth).

Rock in Rio has also confirmed the presence of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alter Bridge, Alice Cooper, and more. Ticket sales for Rock in Rio will begin on April 6th at 7 PM through the Ingresso.com website.
