Sepultura has announced its final European show on the Celebrating Life Through Death . The band will conclude the tour in Ireland, at the 3Arena, on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
The band commented: “Dublin! We couldn’t imagine a better place to play our last show in Europe than your beautiful city, and having the company of our friends from Biohazard , Malevolence , Sacred Reich and Crypta will make this an unmissable event. See you in August!”
Originally, the band was going to end its activities in 2024, but Andreas Kisser revealed in an interview that the farewell tour will continue until 2026. The band is putting together a live album commemorating their last series of shows. Sepultura wants the final show to take place in São Paulo, preferably in a stadium.
Sepultura is set to release unreleased songs.
Sepultura will release a new EP in 2026. The work features four tracks recorded with the band's current lineup: Andreas Kisser on guitar, Paulo Xisto on bass, Derrick Green on vocals, and Greyson Nekrutman , who officially replaced longtime drummer Eloy Casagrande in February 2024.
In a recent interview on Mystic Talks , Andreas Kisser revealed the band's plans to release new music [transcription via Blabbermouth ]:
“We recorded four new songs with Greyson on drums. I don’t think anyone knows this, but here we go. We have four new songs and we intend to release an EP next year, just to celebrate this moment. They are original songs that we worked on. They are already recorded and everything, and we are really taking our time to see when the right moment will be to do it.”
