Setembro Negro festival has announced some band substitutions in the lineup for the 14th edition of the event, which takes place on September 2nd, 3rd and 4th at Carioca Club, in São Paulo.
The bands The Black Spade, Raven , and Ross The Boss have been added to list of 30 acts to replace three groups that will be unable to perform at this year's event: Apokalyptic Raids , unable to attend due to a nerve problem in the arm of one of its members, who will undergo surgery and be unable to play for a while; Grave Miasma , who canceled due to "unavoidable personal commitments"; and Angel Witch , a band that canceled all shows scheduled until 2023 due to "circumstances beyond our control."
The event, produced by Tumba Productions, celebrates heavy music across various subgenres, including heavy metal, death metal, thrash metal, black metal, grindcore, gothic, sludge, and doom metal.
Setembro Negro festival held its first edition in 2002. Tickets for the festival can be purchased starting at R$250 on the Clube do Ingresso website or at Carioca Club points of sale throughout Brazil. Those who already purchased tickets in 2020 can use the same ticket to participate in the new dates.
