Iron Maiden's 'Senjutsu' has been voted the best album of 2021 by Wikimetal readers.

New albums by Edu Falaschi and Evanescence came in second.

A new year has finally arrived, and to officially say goodbye to 2021, we asked our readers what their favorite album of the year . You spoke, and we listened: Senjutsu , by Iron Maiden , won with 31% of the votes!

Iron Maiden's 17th studio album topped the poll, surpassing other major releases such as Edu Falaschi 's Vera Cruz , with 13% of the votes, and Evanescence 's The Bitter Truth , with 8%.

The poll also saw 8% of the votes go to "Perpetual Chaos" by Nervosa and " Hushed and Grim" by Mastodon . See the full results below!
