The band Semblant has released the second music video from their album Vermilion Eclipse, which will be released on April 15th by the Italian label Frontiers Music. The new single “Enrage” has surpassed 120,000 views in just four days.
Speaking about the new work, vocalist and founding member Sergio Mazul commented in a statement released to the press: “All the experiences we lived through during the pandemic and the moments we spent locked in studios, focused on creating, are finally in the form of music and reaching your hearts and souls.”
“This album is quite emotional. In the process of producing this album, we lost family members, one of us is celebrating the news that our first child is on the way, and we helped each other keep our minds healthy and strong during this insane time. All of this is reflected in the new album.”
Vocalist Mizuho Lin added, “We never thought it would be possible to compose a new album completely remotely while we were all at home during the pandemic. It was different. It was intense. The production process had an even more incredible synergy between the band and our old friend and producer Adair Daufembach. I’m very excited about this album and can’t wait to finally release it!”
Semblant was formed in 2006 in Curitiba, Brazil, and after some lineup changes, the group solidified with vocalist and founding member Sergio Mazul, vocalist Mizuho Lin, guitarist Juliano Ribeiro , drummer Welyntom “Thor” Sikora , and bassist Johann Piper.
