Here at Wikimetal we're always on the lookout for the latest news from the world of rock and heavy metal. With that in mind, we've selected the best releases of the week and compiled them into a playlist at the end of the article.

Dream Theater – “Paralyzed”

Dream Theater has already released some tracks from their upcoming album Distance Over Time . But they've just revealed the first official single, "Paralyzed ," along with an animated music video. While the previous tracks – "Untethered Angel" and "Fall Into the Light" – are over six minutes long, "Paralyzed" is four minutes. The perfect length for radio play. The track showcases both the melodic and aggressive sides of the prog-metal band.

Buckcherry – “Warpaint”

Buckcherry 's album Warpaint , has just received its title track. Set for release on March 8th, the 12-song album will feature 11 new tracks and a Nine Inch Nails . The album artwork was created by Aaron Marsh .

Within Temptation – “Supernova”

“Supernova” , the new music video from the band Within Temptation , directed by Set Vexy , is now available. The track is part of the band's latest album, Resist , released on February 1st.

In Flames – “Burn”

In Flames ' song "Burn" is now available. The track will be on their upcoming album , I, The Mask, to be released on March 1st. The 12-track album reunites In Flames with Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson (Motörhead) . It will be mixed by Chris Lord-Alge (Linkin Park, Cheap Trick) .

Blaze Bayley – “The Dark Side Of Black”

The official music video for the song “The Dark Side Of Black” by Blaze Bayley , ex- Iron Maiden , is now available. The track is part of the third album in the Infinite Entanglement . The Redemption of William Black , released in March 2018, concluded the science fiction work.

Misery Index – “The Choir Invisible”

The official lyric video for Misery Index 's "The Choir Invisible" has just been released. The track is part of the band's upcoming album, Rituals Of Power . The band comments: "'The Choir Invisible' is a euphemism for death or for those who have died. In the context of the song, it's an anthem for the hopeless."

Angra – “Magic Mirror”

“Magic Mirror ,” a song by the Brazilian band Angra, has just received a new music video. Inspired by the biting lyrics of guitarist Rafael Bittencourt , the script was written by director Pedro Jorge . The video features Jaqueline Oliveira and Jéssica Batista , two professional fighters. The reflection in the “magic mirror” reveals that what bothers us in other people is what we need to learn about ourselves. People we don't like give us the opportunity to discover a space for personal growth.
