Entertainment Weekly released this week the first photo of actor Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury of Queen. The actor, best known for his role in the series Mr. Robot, will play Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody , a film about the vocalist, which is expected to hit theaters in December 2018.
Queen members Roger Taylor and Brian May praised the choice of Malek for the role: “He has a great presence and is completely dedicated to the project. He is living and breathing Freddie already, which is amazing.”
