Last Friday, the 19th, Sebastian Bach released the single “(Hold On) To The Dream” , which has just received a music video.
The track will be part of the vocalist's upcoming work, ' Child Within' The Man', scheduled for release on May 10th, which features special appearances by John 5 , Orianthi , and Steven Stevens .
Regarding the release, he explains: “If someone asked me to play the heaviest song I’ve ever recorded in my 35-year career, I would play '(Hold On) To The Dream'. This song is a tribute to two of my favorite things: classic 1970s metal and also yacht rock! Hence the new term yacht metal!”
He adds: “I’ve never heard a song like ‘(Hold On) To The Dream,’ where the crushing verse matched the luxurious, chest-hair-like harmonies of the chorus. I tried to incorporate every tone of my voice into this song. For those of you keeping score, I can say that my voice hits some of the highest notes of my career on ‘(Hold On) To The Dream’!”
In addition to the single, two other tracks have already been released, titled "What Do I Got To Lose?" and "Everybody Bleeds".
