Sebastian Bach says it was an honor to act in the series Gilmore Girls.

Bach participated in 4 seasons as a substitute guitarist for the band Hep Alien, created for the series.

FOX5 Las Vegas 's More program , Bach talks about what it's like to act and also about his successful journey on the hit Warner show.

In Gilmore Girls , Bach plays Gil, an older guitarist who arrives to replace Dave Rygalski ( Adam Brody ) in the band Hep Alien , formed by the young Lane ( Keiko Agena ), Zack ( Todd Lowe ) and Brian ( John Cabrera ).

Gil was already working in another business and had a family, in contrast to the rest of the band. However, his performance impressed the members and his participation extended until the 7th and final season of the show.

“I really enjoyed it. It’s an hour-long show and there’s a lot of dialogue. And the director always said, ‘Okay. Do it once as fast as you can.’ So I was like an auctioneer,” he told host Jason Feinberg, laughing.

In 2016, Netflix released a new series called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life , in which Bach returns to his role as Gil. Regarding the new show, the singer said in an interview with US Weekly in 2016 (via Blabbermouth ):

“Filming the Gilmore Girls was like stepping into a time machine. That’s the best analogy I could give you. It was like a trip back in time. They hired the exact same cast, but they also hired the exact same crew, the same dialogue coach, the same costume designer. Everything was the same as the original series. So, walking around there, it was like we were back in 2004! It’s a very rare thing to have in life, to be able to revisit something that’s so important. This show is important to so many people. It’s an honor to be a part of it.”

In an interview with FOX5 , Bach commented on his new album, released in May of this year , titled Child Within The Man , his first solo work in 10 years. In the official video, the singer concludes by saying that his next television appearance will be on the show Worst Cooks in America Food Network cable channel .
