Sebastian Bach has been vaccinated against COVID-19 – and encouraged rock fans to do the same. The artist documented the entire process and shared videos and photos on social media.

At 53 years old, the singer was immunized a few weeks ago, just in time to celebrate his birthday on April 3rd. “I got the vaccine! I’m ready to rock!” he exclaimed. “Everyone who considers themselves a rock fan, get vaccinated and have proof of vaccination so we can get the show back on the road, you sons of bitches!”

Skid Row vocalist announced that his wife had also been vaccinated. “Seeing my friends all at once after a year was like being in a dream,” he said about the birthday celebration. “Guys, get your doses so we can all enjoy ourselves. I can smell this thing called rock n' roll in the air.”

Among his expressions of gratitude, Bach praised the current US president's handling of the coronavirus pandemic. "More than anything, thank you so much to our incredible President Joe Biden for being more true to his promises and doubling down on vaccine goals," the singer concluded. "That's how we'll get our country back! Fingers crossed for the return of rock 'n' roll."

Bach joins a growing list of rock idols who have received at least one dose of the vaccine to prevent the disease, including Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne , and Rob Halford . See the full list here.
