Scotti Hill, guitarist for Skid Row , said that a reunion with the band's former vocalist, Sebastian Bach , could have a similar outcome to the feud between Dave Navarro and Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction . Bach was kicked out of the band in 1996, leaving behind hits such as "18 and Life" and "Slave to the Grind".

In an interview with Hear 2 Zen , Hill commented ( via Loudwire ): “I understand why the fans want it, but it wouldn’t be how they remember and expect it. They would be disappointed and we would be unhappy.”

The guitarist cites the recent clash between Farrell and Navarro at a concert as an argument to make a future reunion with Sebastian Bach difficult.

“We saw what happened when you try to have a reunion… speaking of Jane’s Addiction, it’s terrible what happened with those guys. I feel bad for them. Some reunions shouldn’t even happen,” he said.

Skid Row plans to continue without a permanent vocalist.

Erik Gronwall 's departure , the group recently played some shows with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm on vocals. In the same interview, Hill confirms that Skid Row may continue playing shows without an official vocalist and does not name who is on his shortlist to fill the position.

“Some are not realistic options. I chose some vocalists that I would like to work with, but they couldn't because of their styles. It doesn't fit, or perhaps they don't have the vocal range; it's a difficult vocal range to achieve.”
