Creed 's lead singer , Scott Stapp , has been cast to portray legendary artist Frank Sinatra in the film Reagan , which will tell the story of Ronald Reagan , actor and 40th President of the United States.
The role will be the artist's first in a film production, Billboard confirmed yesterday, the 16th. "Sinatra in performance mode was an exercise in limitation," Stapp stated in a press release.
“He had this style and swagger, and his brilliant presence commanded a room. I was excited to join the cast and impressed with the attention to detail on set, the style, and the overall production.”
The cast of Reagan includes Dennis Quaid as Ronald Reagan, Penelope Ann Miller as Nancy Reagan , and the film will be directed by Sean McNamara . The film is scheduled for release in 2021.
