Scott Ian 's eight-year-old son was the star of the Foo Fighters last weekend. The young guitarist played "Everlong" with Dave Grohl and company at the Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky.
Videos recorded by fans of the band show the Anthrax guitarist with his son backstage at the festival when Grohl invites the boy Revel to play, calling him "one of my favorite guitarists of all time".
Revel blew the crowd away with “Everlong,” captivating them to the point of being invited back at the end of the show for a farewell performance. Upon leaving the stage, he greeted Pat Smear and went straight to his father, who hugged him and shouted, “You’re awesome!”
Proudly, Scott Ian posted a video he made of his son on social media with the caption: “Most proud moment of my son? How about when he plays “Everlong” with one of his favorite bands in front of 400,000 people and ROCKS IT! Thank you Dave, Taylor, Pat, Chris, Rami, Gus, Kerwin, Sean, Patrick, Simone and everyone on the Foo Fighters crew for being the best!”
