The album does not yet have a release date.
Scott Ian, guitarist for Anthrax, said that the successor to For All Kings will be "very incredible".
In an interview with Eddie Trunk, Ian said that the band already has great ideas for the new album. “Charlie [Benante] sent us some riffs recently. I listened to them and, in my opinion, they are incredible and that makes me very excited to continue.”
He also reveals that when a tour ends he feels anxious and starts thinking, "'Did we use up all our riffs?' but then I listened to Charlie's riffs and the next album is going to be amazing!"
Charlie Benante also gave an interview where he talked a bit about the upcoming Anthrax album and revealed that the new sound will be more aggressive. "I think that's a reflection of the world we're living in today and everything that's been happening with the industry."
In addition to the album, the band is preparing to release the live DVD Kings Among Scotland on April 27th via Megaforce. It was recorded during a performance in Glasgow, Scotland in February of this year.
The DVD will feature a two-hour set, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage from the show.
