The Scorpions' involvement in the project
Previously, in an interview with Rolling Stone Brazil , vocalist Klaus Meine spoke about the band's involvement in the project and their expectations for the start of filming.
The film is being developed by ESX Entertainment, an independent production company led by Ali Afshar , who is also an actor and former race car driver. According to Meine, the project is in the hands of a producer who “has a true passion for rock and the history of the Scorpions. He also wants to create not a documentary, but a fictional film inspired by the trajectory of the German band. “He wants to tell the band's story with heart and soul,” said Klaus. “We are involved in the script and also helped choose the actors. It's not easy to find five Brad Pitts to play us, but we are following everything with enthusiasm.”
