A short video of the Scorpions was released on drummer Mikkey Dee , in which the group appears rehearsing a new song, apparently titled "Seventh Sun".
In the video, which you can watch below, the band appears in the studio in Hanover, Germany, with the following caption: “Rehearsing a new song for the tour. Pretty heavy.”
The group recently finished recording their new album and hope to release it in early 2022. The album was recorded at Peppermint Park Studios in Hanover and mixed at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin with sound engineer Michael Ilbert.
This new release will mark the group's first launch since the compilation album Born To Touch Your Feelings Best Of Rock Ballads , from 2017.
