The legendary band Scorpions released this Thursday, the 4th, "Peacemaker," a new single from the album, Rock Believer , which will be released on February 25th.
The album, which will mark the group's 19th studio album, is now available for pre-order at this link . Rock Believer follows Return to Forever , from 2015.
Speaking about “Peacemaker,” Klaus Meine revealed that the track was inspired by “COVID-19, devastating wars, and other current crimes.” He continues explaining: “In a peaceful post-pandemic world, it will be the turn of the ‘peacemaker’ to reign… that’s the image that attracts me.”
The project was recorded at Peppermint Park Studios in Hanover, Germany, and mixed at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin with sound engineer Michael Ilbert . In addition to announcing the new album, the band also announced a tour of the United States and Europe between March and July 2022.
