Scorpions release music video for “Peacemaker”; watch it here.

The track is the first single from the band's upcoming album, scheduled for release next year.

Scorpions the 5th, the first single from their upcoming studio album Rock Believer.

The video, directed by Joern Heitmann and Hinrich Pflug, shows the band playing the new track while the lyrics appear on screen with hilarious effects. Speaking about the song, Klaus Meine revealed that the track was inspired by “COVID-19, devastating wars, and other current crimes.” He continues explaining: “In a peaceful post-pandemic world, it will be the turn of the 'peacemaker' to reign… that’s the image that attracts me.”

The successor to Return to Forever (2015), the album will be released on February 25, 2022. The project was recorded at Peppermint Park Studios in Hanover, Germany, and mixed at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin with sound engineer Michael Ilbert .
