Scorpions mistreated on Faustão's show? Klaus Meine responds.

Rumors suggested that the show's team treated the Germans rudely.

Klaus Meine , lead singer of Scorpions , recalled the band's appearance on the Domingão do Faustão in 1994, during the tour promoting the album Face The Heat .

During a conversation with Scorpions Brazil , the singer answered fan questions about the veracity of some rumors circulating about the German group's career. After explaining that he worked with curtains before getting involved with music, Meine responded to whether the Faustão show's team treated the band rudely.

At the time, Scorpions were promoting two shows in São Paulo, and performed "Still Loving You," a hit at Rock In Rio 1985, and the single "Under The Same Sun," from the album the band was promoting at the time. It's possible to perceive the band members' confusion over the language barrier and the presenter's playful banter as he walked in front of the cameras, and his good humor regarding the use of playback.

When questioned about the alleged mistreatment, the singer was cautious. “I don’t remember. No, no,” he replied. “I don’t remember, let’s say it’s fake. I don’t know exactly where in Brazil this happened. In Rio? People in Rio are always nice.”

In the same interview, Meine listened to the forró versions created in Brazil for great Scorpions classics , from "Wind of Change" to "Send Me An Angel," and reacted to the final result.
