The lead singer of the band Lyria made a different version of the song "Send Me An Angel" from 1990.

Brazilian singer Aline Happ , from the band Lyria , paid homage to the Scorpions with a reinterpretation of "Send Me An Angel." The classic version featured classical and folk instruments, such as harp, violins, cello, and flute.

“I really like this song. It has a strong meaning, besides being very beautiful and iconic. The song can be interpreted as a cry for help. The lyrical self wants to escape sadness and anguish, so it brings images of renewal, images that truly remind us of a feeling of purification and ascension,” says Aline Happ in a statement to the press.

The track “Send Me an Angel” was originally released on the album Crazy World (1990), which also features the classic “Wind of Change”. Composed by Rudolf Schenker , the song features lyrics by Klaus Meine and production by Keith Olsen and band. The song reached number 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 , and number 8 on the Mainstream Rock Chart.
