Scorpions continue with the releases from their new studio album, this time with "Rock Believer," the title track from the German band's first album of new material since Return to Forever (2015).

Released after " Peacemaker ," the new song features the classic Scorpions sound, with melodic backing vocals balanced by the band's heavy hard rock. The lyrics celebrate their more than five decades of career, the power of rock and those who believe in this lifestyle, and include a subtle dig at hateful critics.

“We leave here for all corners / So many moments we share; All the love we give and receive / (…) No matter what the haters say / Nobody can take our dreams away from us,” says a passage from the composition.

In a mini-documentary about the behind-the-scenes recording of the album , vocalist Klaus Meine explained the concept behind the lyrics of the new record. “When I started, I thought about all these years and all the places we’ve played and I had an initial idea (…) to pick some cities and places that we feel very connected to and find stories, like a narrator, and talk about those old times and highlights along the way,” he explained.

The music video will be released next Tuesday, the 18th. At the time of the video's release, the band will also answer questions submitted by fans on social media. To participate, you need a YouTube Premium subscription, which offers 3 free months for new subscribers, and leave your question in the band's posts .

Rock Believer , the nineteenth studio album by Scorpions, will be released on February 25th; see the album cover here and check out the 2022 release schedule in this post .
