The vocalist had already suffered from a similar problem in 2017
The veteran band Scorpions had to cancel a show in Australia that was scheduled for last Saturday, the 10th, after vocalist Klaus Meine experienced problems with his vocal cords.
In a statement, Meine explained that he spent 36 hours without speaking to preserve his voice, but has not fully recovered, “You deserve nothing less than the best performance I can deliver and I hope to be back soon.”
He also thanked the fans who sent get-well messages and also Def Leppard , with whom they were scheduled to perform on this tour. It is still unknown when the vocalist will be able to return to the stage.
In October 2017, Scorpions member Klaus had to withdraw from their North American tour with Megadeth after he was diagnosed with laryngitis. A specialist advised him to take care of his voice before permanent damage occurred.
