According to information from the production company BookMyShow, Scorpions have cancelled their tour of India, which was scheduled to begin tomorrow, April 21st, in New Delhi, India. The four dates of the Coming Home Tour would have marked the band's return to the country after nineteen years.

The official statement cited "unforeseen medical reasons" as the reason for the cancellation. In addition to India, the performance scheduled for Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, on May 3rd, will also no longer take place. The German band's next show is scheduled for June 17th in Attard, Malta.

“We regret to inform you that Scorpions’ ‘Coming Home’ tour in India, scheduled to pass through Shillong on April 21, Delhi-NCR on April 24, Bengaluru on April 26 and Mumbai on April 30, has been cancelled due to unforeseen medical circumstances affecting band members. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused to fans. The band is very interested in performing in India when possible and within their schedule,” wrote the production company [transcription via Igor Miranda].
