Scorpions have had to cancel the first 3 dates of their European tour due to an unspecified injury to their guitarist Matthias Jabs ( via Blabbermouth ).

The shows that were scheduled to take place in Lisbon, Toulouse, and Lila on May 10, 13, and 15, respectively, will have their new dates announced, likely within a few days.

In a statement, lead singer Klaus Meine wrote: “We are very sorry to disappoint our fans in the 3 cities that were next on our tour and we ask for the understanding of everyone who already had tickets.”

Scorpions weren't the only band to face cancellations this week. Black Label Society, curiously , also had to reschedule three dates of their current tour Zakk Wylde having vocal problems
